Anna Burton, MSc is Research Associate at the Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) and PhD candidate at MODUL University Vienna.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in International Management at MODUL University Vienna and her Master’s degree with a specialization in Management at Columbia University in New York. During her bachelor studies she spent a semester abroad at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Activities
Research
In the context of her dissertation, she is working on resilience factors and innovation drivers in the field of sustainability. Specifically, the aim is to understand which factors enable companies to operate more sustainably in the long term and to what extent sustainability criteria can contribute to corporate resilience.
Project collaboration
In addition to her dissertation, she is involved in the Josef Ressel Center for Collective Action and Responsible Partnerships (JR Center CARe) and in research projects. In addition, she supports various IBES publication projects through research work and manuscript preparation.
Further occupations
In addition to her work at IBES, she works as a research associate at the Austrian Institute for Economic Research in the field of tourism and leisure industry, and teaches at universities in Vienna.
