The COVID-19 pandemic offers the pharmaceutical industry the chance to improve its reputation. At the same time, however, it hangs over it like a sword of Damocles, warns Markus Scholz. Scholz talks about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the reputation of the pharmaceutical industry and outlines measures that can lead to an image improvement. In particular, he argues for more transparency and dialogs involving civil society and science, so-called multi-stakeholder dialogs.
