In the April/May issue 2020 of the “KMU Magazin” the practical article “Successful implementation of digitization cooperations” by Dr. Anne Busch (Endowed Professor for Microeconomics of Competitiveness) and FH-Prof. Dr. Ann-Christine Schulz (Deputy Head of Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy) has been published.

The authors show that cooperations with technology start-ups to master the digital transformation are becoming increasingly popular with established companies. On the basis of a qualitative study of Austrian companies, the authors identify five central factors that are decisive for the success of a cooperation: Trust, cooperation culture, goal setting, structural framework conditions and communication. These success factors are explained in detail in this article.
