In October 2021, Daniela Ortiz Avram and Nelly Ovcharova had the opportunity to present the first draft of their Literature Review on Dynamic Capabilities for Sustainability at the 16th Corporate Responsibility Research Conference. The paper presented is part of the three-year Transformation for Sustainability (TransformS) project.

What is TransformS about?

Within the framework of this research project, the City of Vienna Change for Corporate Sustainability Competence Team addresses the question of how Austrian companies can develop the necessary strategic change competencies for the transformation towards sustainability (Dynamic Capabilities for Sustainability).

For the transfer of knowledge into practice, cooperations with companies as well as specific lectures and workshops are carried out. In addition to relevant courses, a qualification program for Change Agents for Sustainability is being developed. This will be piloted in various master’s degree programs at FHWien in the winter semester of 2022.

The competence team started in March 2021 with the support of the City of Vienna (MA 23 – Economy, Labor and Statistics) and is based at the Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) at FHWien of WKW. The competence team is led by Dr. Daniela Ortiz Avram. Duration: March 2021 to February 2024. More information at: https://ibes.fh-wien.ac.at/en/transforms
