Excellent application-oriented teaching
The Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) is responsible for the coordination, organisation and implementation of courses in the fields of “Business Ethics”, “Sustainability”, and “Strategy & Competitiveness” at FHWien der WKW. The aim is to offer excellent courses that provide students with a theoretical foundation of knowledge while at the same time being highly application-oriented. This goal is achieved both through the use of internationally renowned and certified didactic teaching concepts and through the transfer of current research results into the content of individual lectures.

Responsible Management Lectures: Ideas for Better Business
Since 2012, IBES has been organising the “Responsible Management Lectures: Ideas for Better Business” (formerly “CGBE-Lectures”), which have become an important part of the teaching at FHWien der WKW in the field of business ethics, sustainability and corporate governance. Every semester, leading international experts from academia and the business sector present their perspectives on topics in these areas and discuss them with the audience.
