Katharina Salomon, BSc MSc

Katharina Salomon, BSc, MSc, is Research Associate at the Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES).

She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Bioresource Management at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna and her Master’s degree in Global Sustainability Sciences at Leuphana University Lüneburg and Arizona State University. During her bachelor studies she spent a semester abroad at the Universitat Politècnica de València.

Activities

Research

As part of her master’s thesis, she dealt with the inner dimension of sustainability and illuminated it from the perspectives of Zen Buddhism as well as Humanistic Psychology.

Project collaboration

Katharina Salomon is a team member of the project “Competence Team for Corporate Sustainability” sponsored by the City of Vienna.

Further occupations

She was a project manager in a social start-up and a research assistant at the Faculty of Sustainability at Leuphana University Lüneburg. She also gained experience as a sustainability manager in an international corporation.
