Events series

The Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) organizes various events for both academic and practical purposes.

In order to promote scientific discourse at FHWien der WKW, IBES regularly organises internal research colloquia and brown bag meetings at which researchers present and discuss current research projects. Within the framework of the Academic Talks, renowned scientists from Austria and abroad give lectures on various topics.

IBES has developed various event formats for the exchange with companies, politics and civil society organisations. At the Strategy Morning, relevant topics from the fields of strategy and competitiveness are discussed with partners from business practice and politics. The Responsible Management Lectures are aimed at students and the wider public. Recognised experts from academia and the private sector present their perspectives on questions of business ethics, CSR, sustainability and corporate governance and enter into discussions with the audience. In addition, practitioner workshops and lectures take place within the framework of research projects.

The event formats are described in detail below. Current dates and information on registration can be found here.
