Microeconomics of Competitiveness
Since 2013, FHWien der WKW has been part of the Microeconomics-of-Competitiveness (MOC) Network of the Harvard Business School (HBS). The MOC affiliate network is a group of more than 100 educational institutions around the world that teach MOC courses and collaborate on research topics related to the competitiveness of companies and regions.
The Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) coordinates the MOC activities of FHWien der WKW.
Network for Business Sustainability
The Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) is a member of the global Network for Business Sustainability. The network consists of private sector and university actors who are committed to making the economy more sustainable.
In July 2021, IBES will host an international networking workshop for sustainability centres at universities from the network.
Principles for Responsible Management Education
In 2015 FHWien der WKW signed the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). The Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) coordinates the PRME activities of the FHWien der WKW. More information on concrete measures can be found on the website of FHWien der WKW.
IBES is a member of the PRME working group “Sustainability Mindset“. The working group forms a network of scientists on how to promote sustainable mindsets for achieving SDGs.
