Almost exactly one year ago, in September 2020, the Josef Ressel Center for Collective Action and Responsible Partnerships (JR Center CARe) was opened. Due to the pandemic, the ceremony had to be organized as a digital event, but leading representatives from business, science and politics congratulated the launch of the first JR Center at FHWien der WKW.

Now, the team around center director Prof. Dr. Scholz has already achieved remarkable things in the first year of the five-year project. So far, the project has already produced three international conference papers, a book contribution, a practical study and two publications in leading international journals (currently in the review process). In addition, there have been numerous high-profile keynote presentations by Prof. Scholz, workshops with the Center’s corporate partners, presentations by CARe team members, as well as interviews, podcasts, and guest articles in print media focusing on Collective Action and sustainability.

The CARe team looks forward to four more years of cutting-edge, practice-relevant research, as well as continued excellent collaboration with corporate partners, funding agencies, and researchers at FHWien der WKW.
