Dr. Katharina Jarmai has been asked by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs to be a panelist at the event SDG Business Forum 2021: (Digital) Innovations and New Business Models for Sustainable Global Development on March 09. She will participate in the panel discussion on “Business Cooperation as Innovation Enabler”.

This event is organized by the Federal Ministry. With this event, the Federal Ministry wants to generate impulses for the further development of business models and (digital) innovations that address challenges in the context of the SDGs in low-income countries. The event is aimed at representatives from business, science, civil society and politics.

Katharina Jarmai is currently working on entrepreneurial cooperation as part of the Josef Ressel Center for Collective Action and Responsible Partnerships (JR Center CARe). The Josef Ressel Center researches the emergence, management, performance measurement and legitimacy of so-called Collective Action initiatives. These are collaborative, long-term cooperation processes between companies and other stakeholders to solve social and environmental challenges.
