During a first get-together with Walter Mayrhofer, Head of Research and Head of Institute for Digital Transformation and Strategy (IDS), and Nils Kruse, Head of Institute for Business Ethics & Sustainable Strategy (IBES), current aspects of digital transformation and possible applications of AI and cloud computing were discussed.

The RXO Company, which was founded as recently as 2022, can already refer to its first successes at the International Climate and Environment Industry Exhibition. An AI-assisted waste separation project was presented as part of the event. During the talks, the possibilities of international research and development projects were discussed.

IBES Business ethicist Nils Kruse, who himself lived in South Korea for several years and conducted empirical research there, welcomed the opportunities for cross-cultural collaboration. IDS project leader Gerald Schneikart sees further impulses for the current FHWien research projects “DigiPharmaLogNet” and “ReKEP”, which deal with sustainable digitalization of pharmaceutical logistics and the circular economy, respectively.
