Who are we? Constructing a politically charged organizational identity: The case of Huawei, 1987—2020

The Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy and the Research Cluster of FHWien are pleased to welcome Dr Johann Fortwengel, Reader in International Management, at King’s College London, at FHWien on Thursday, June 15 2023.

Johann Fortwengel will present his research work, where he explores through a  study the political ideology of a multinational enterprise as an organizational identity strategy.

Afterwards, talking to the researcher personally over drinks and snacks will be possible. There is no charge to attend, and registration is requested as the number of participants is limited. Information and registration can be found #here.

 

About him:

Dr Johann Fortwengel received his PhD from the Free University of Berlin. His research looks at multinational corporations and their organizational identities. He is an Associate Editor in the Journal of Management Studies and part of the editorial board of the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, and Management International Review.
